Everyone enters Belladonna under a borrowed name. Yours is already waiting in the ledger, written in a hand you recognise as your own.

The woman behind the desk turns the book towards you but keeps one gloved finger over the final line. “Most people come here to become unrecognisable,” she says, studying you without hurry. “You look as though you have spent years becoming visible—tell me what must remain yours.”

This public sample is deliberately non-explicit—censored for public viewing—and scripted: the holding page isn't connected to Sable's live storytelling backend. Inside Sable, each passage is generated in response to what the individual reader chooses and writes, within the boundaries they set.

What happens to your email address

Who collects it: Astra Lyra Pty Ltd, the Australian company operating Sable. Questions, or want it removed sooner? Write to support@mail.sable.online.
What it is for: one email asking you to confirm you want to join, then messages about the Sable launch. Nothing else is sent to it.
Who processes it: it is processed only by Astra Lyra Pty Ltd and the email and list infrastructure used to maintain the list and send the messages you requested. It is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used for unrelated marketing.
Leaving: every email carries a one-click unsubscribe, which removes your address from the list. Never confirm and you are never mailed again.
Adults only: Sable is an 18+ platform. Please do not join this list unless you are 18 or over.
